Capelets

Lately, I had this urge to experiment on other creative pieces other than bookmarks and bracelets. I actually started a blouse, around five years ago but I never got to finish it, so I ripped it off and began a smaller project I could finish.

The cream-and-maroon combination for a blouse did not push through, but here is the alternative piece--a capelet.

This is the product of the ripped blouse. I re-did the thread and came up with a capelet instead.

Inspired by the cream-and-maroon combination I did, I tried to combine a solid color and a variegated hue of the same shade. I came up with this.

This is what happens when you put together leftover yarns. LOL

This is actually an unfinished work. I am still thinking what to do next. Someone suggested I'd do a blouse instead of a capelet because its design can be the beginning of a blouse.
I guess this color combination is the one I like best. The color is so feminine!

I like the last one best, too. I agree, you can make a blouse or a cardigan out of the unfinished one. Can't wait to see the finished project!

Thanks, Claire, I will keep that in mind when I pick it up again. I am preoccupied with smaller projects at this point.
