Million flowers

When things get stressful, the more that I want to de-stress. So I have begun crocheting small flowers (again), this time with crochet thread of variegated colors.

Flower Scarf

I am wondering what I can do with all the flowers that I crocheted. I came up with this scarf. I wanted something to look like a vine full of flowers.

I haven't taken a shot of this yet with someone modeling it.

Three Rosettes

I am experimenting on all sorts of three-dimensional flower creation, one that can be used not only as embellishment or applique but also one that can stand as a flower in a vase. I think these ones can do the trick if placed on a wire for support.

I haven't posted for long. I am busy with my editing works and I have forgotten my crochet activities. But here is a project I gave to a young friend.

Crazy Weather?

The weather is not so good. Sometimes the sun shines too hot and the next thing is a heavy downpour that clears in another minute. In just a day, there is an alternate of a heavy downpour and sunshine. The result is a very humid environment.

Is it the erratic weather that is causing the abnormal body reactions that we are experiencing during these months? When my daughter was admitted for pneumonia, there were other 13 pediatric patients for admission, all of them respiratory cases.

Occasions

Since we are a big family, occasions are always marked by big gatherings where friends and relatives gather together.

Scarf Project2

I am reserving this bubble gum scarf for a friend to whom I have promised to give. I can't think of any other name so I took its name from its color.

These are actually fashion accessories.
The blooms and vine are actually two sets of scarfs, the vine inserted into the spaces of the blooms.















The blooms on the right is the same as the one with the vines. The one on the extreme right was taken by another camera so the color appears different.

It has been quite a while that I haven't visited my blog. Vacation was quite a long respite. I have not held my crochet needle and thread for quite a while after I finished the scarf which I promised to two of my friends in Canada.
